What it means to be a Bacs approved bureau

Not every payroll provider can process payments directly through the Bacs scheme.

To do so, a bureau must meet strict criteria set by Bacs and undergo a formal approval process. As a Bacs approved bureau, we have the accreditation, the systems and the processes to submit payments on your behalf – securely, reliably, and without additional steps for your team.

For education organisations, this matters. How it works

Once you’ve reviewed and approved your payroll, we take care of everything from there. We submit the payment file directly to Bacs, so there’s no need to re-enter data into a separate banking or finance system, and no files to send to your bank manually.

Payments are processed through the Bacs scheme in the usual three-day cycle, meaning funds are scheduled, cleared and received by your employees on the dates you’ve agreed. Everything is automated, auditable and handled within our managed payroll service.
